Personally, I cannot wait to have a garden. I love the idea of living outside of town and growing our own veggies! An article today on Design*Sponge, about a C.S.A., got my mind going all over again about the possibilities!
I'm totally in love with the wedding site Once Wed and love these awesome invites they posted today! We are probably going to do our invites DIY, but it would be awesome to order letterpress or designed ones like these!
I have always been in love with the idea of buying a rundown farmhouse and fixing it up. I think it would be so wonderful to breath life back into an abandoned home! And on snowy, cold days like today, I can't wait to be able to do just that! I found these pictures on weheartit.com.
This is my last post of the day -- I promise! But I couldn't resist posting thing gorgeous picture of a room I would LOVE to have! My book collection is kind of outlandish, leaving Ben and I with the daunting task of someday giving all of them a home. I wouldn't mind moving my literary treasure trove into something like this at all!
I realize that when posting my blog yesterday about sunflowers, I forgot to mention the other flowers we are going with for the wedding. We've decided on doing wildflowers! I'm thrilled about it, a) because of all the gorgeous colors and outdoorsy charm and b) because we will have to grow them back home, which will be a nice DIY touch!
Ben and I are both very excited about our chosen honeymoon location: Moscow!! Granted, it's still very far off (and we might put off our honeymoon for a year after the wedding) but the idea of spending time in Russia with Ben is so thrilling!
Even though we are no where near close to our wedding, I've been trying to collect some inspiration to make planning easier. One idea I'm very excited about: sunflowers! Since we are shooting for late summer, and are doing at least an outdoor reception, I think they will be gorgeous!
Oh my gosh! What a totally perfect weekend! Ben came into town, and proposed on Saturday!! It was just amazing. He did it at my favorite place in the whole city, the 4th Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave. It was so sweet!! Then, we went to dinner, where he had arranged to have our friends waiting for us! I had no idea until we got there, walked to the back, and there were Kim, Helen, Katie, Andy, Alicia, and Tim! Having our friends there to celebrate with us meant so much to both of us!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who made it happen! It meant the world to me! And I couldn't ask for a more wonderful fiance!
Help me change the world.
