Sweets for Breakfast

When it comes to breakfast foods, I'm kind of a huge baby. I've never been a religious b-fast eater, but I'm trying to get into the habit this year. In my search for possible morning bites, I found this recipe for Crespella and am dying to try it! It sounds like an easier version of a crepe, only a lot thicker.

New Weekend Plan

So, since my train got canceled, meaning I can't go home tomorrow afternoon, I am now considering going to the movies tomorrow. Only problem is that two movies I am dying to see are playing: Nine and The Fantastic Mr. Fox. As a total movie elitist, I loved 8 1/2, and can't wait to see Nine. But I also adore Wes Anderson, so Mr. Fox is definitely on my list. Hmmmm.

Sandwich Baggies

As someone who packs their lunch for school nearly everyday, I go through a lot of baggies. As part of my New Years De-Clutter-thon, I'm thinking about picking up some re-useable baggies, a) to save some money and b) to be a little more green. Baggies just go too fast!

Flowers in Your Hair

I've never been one for accessories (besides my scarves, of course) but I've recently fallen in love with flower pins! I have black and blue, but love all the colors on this Etsy shop. They look so delicate and simple!

Skirt

Part of my 2010 upgrade involves my wardrobe. Time to get away from all the icky clothes I've been holding onto for no reason, and upgrade to more adult pieces. Modcloth is, of course, my total obsession. I'm loving this skirt! Love the fun pattern and length.

Amazon Treasure

Call me a Poli Sci nerd if you must, but last night I found the best literary treasure. A copy of RFK's To Seek a Newer World, for all of $7. Granted, it's used and might be in shabby condition, but I have never been able to find any of his books, so this is a total thrill. Can't wait for it to get here!

New Years Life Plan

With the start of 2010, I'm officially facing down what could be a huge year in my life. Not that 2009 or even 2008 wasn't huge, but this time I can see it coming in advance. So this year I'm going to try extra hard to stick to my resolutions.

My focus for 2010 is getting my life figured out in terms of clutter, both mentally, health wise, and literal clutter wise. I need to go through my stuff desperately, commit to eating healthy, and move on to adult life, especially since graduation is just six months away.
